The other morning I heard this song ('You're Still God to Me by Jade Lundgren) for the first time. And it spoke to my heart. How beautiful is our God that through all the season changes, through our growth, through all the pain and joy one thing still remains the same: He is still God to us. Our God is unchanging, unwavering…no matter what we are going through, no matter how much we question everything that happens in our lives, through all our blessings, HE IS STILL GOD TO US!!!
Isn’t that so beautiful? That through it ALL, God is still there for us with opening arms, ready to take us in and shower us with His mercy!
We have all gone through some sort of valley, we’ve all gotten tired at some point climbing the mountain, we have all questioned our ‘why’ at some point. But find comfort in knowing that the God of all living things, the God of mercy and Grace, the God of unwavering love for us, IS STILL GOD TO US AND IS STILL THERE FOR US!
My prayer for you today is that no matter which desert you are walking through, that you cling on to the one who has the power to prosper you, and to bring you through ANYTHING. Hold on to His promises. I pray that no matter how gray your day may seem, that you gather the strength to worship Him through the storm. I know it’s not easy (trust me), I know it’s scary sometimes, but I PROMISE you that when you BLINDLY and WHOLEHEARTEDLY put your trust in Him, He will bring you peace! He is the only one who can bring you that kind of peace. I pray that you find joy and comfort in our Lord and Savior today. And I pray that you give your life to the One who gave his life for YOU.
